cheekie- Being a bit too smart, but perhaps a little cute ... cheeky is quite mild often said to children too.
cheeky- Cheeky can have overtones of michief in it. It can also mean one who speaks out or is forward in their manner.It can mean someone who takes some risk in how they deal with people . Someone who takes food from anothers plate would be cheeky. A small child who called a grown up old or fat would be cheeky. Or a person who jumps ahead of you in a queue may be called cheeky.
